Sorry about the lack of posts this month - have been a bit distracted with preparations for the wedding.. not long to go now!
I did manage to find some time yesterday to make up some scrap packs for the shop.. it's always fun to put these together!Also - the shop will be shutting early next week to give me time to focus on the last bits and pieces before the wedding and will then be reopening in a few weeks time once I get back from our honeymoon :) So if you are needing any fabrics urgently please get your orders in over the next few days.. Yesterday we had a little picnic at the park.. lots of curious birds (some with their cute little babies!!) came by to say hello!

Just got some more new fabrics back from my printer. Have been wanting to get both these colourways printed up for a while now, so am quite excited about these ones!

Here's a sneak peek at the artwork for my latest textile design.. I have been wanting to do a leafy design for a while now, I am quite excited to see how it looks once it's all printed up on fabric!

My evenings have been busy crafting bits and pieces for the wedding.. Here are some soy candles I have made (using empty glass jars in all different shapes and sizes for the containers). They were really easy to make and much more cost effective than buying soy candles at the shops! Some are unscented and some have a lovely subtle vanilla pear fragrance.. I got my candle making supplies from here.

Oooh and I also have to mention another new stockist of my fabrics: Selvedge House in Queensland! Ellie, Sam & Danielle will be opening an exciting new crafting/fabric/screen-printing shop in Brisbane soon.. it sounds really wonderful! In the meantime they will be holding market stalls, full of gorgeous fabrics, patterns and handcrafted pieces. (For those of you in Brisbane, Selvedge House will be having a stall at the Racecourse Road Street Party Market which is on this Sunday 20th September from 10am - 5pm. They are stocking screen-printed fabrics by Ink & Spindle, Kristen Doran, Pippijoe, Red Seed Studio and my fabrics too!)

Gosh - it's been a while between posts! Have been busy busy.. packaging fabrics, packing & posting orders, ordering basecloths, choosing colours and designs to get printed up next and working on new designs (will give you a peek soon)..
And then on top of all that, planning/shopping/sourcing/ordering/making things - for the wedding.. it's less than 2 months to go now!

This week has been a good one for press! I am thrilled that my fabric has got a mention in the latest issue of Frankie mag.. AND the lovely people at Frankie also have a bumper pack of my fabrics to giveaway! So make sure you enter the comp for your chance to win - good luck!
